As is customary with all Scouts group, our group recognises its Social responsibility within its local and also national community by helping out in various activities. Of these activities our group acts as marshals and helpers during marathons. The Attard Athletics club in collaboration with the local council holds two yearly marathons were our members are located at different points around the village directing athletes along the way. The group also maintains the water station handing much needed replenishments to the athletes along the way.
Another marathon where our group participates as marshals and also maintains a water station is the National Malta Marathon which takes place in March. The group takes care of the route passing through Attard. Other scout groups of different villages take part along the route.
