In preparation for the upcoming scout challenge a hike and sleep over was organized for the troop on the 14th & 15th of November. The troop left the quarters and using mapping and grid references made it to Dingli. Along the way checkpoints were organized to assess the children on various scouting activities such as first aid, mapping and orienteering and pioneering.
At Dingli the group cooked their dinner and prepared their tents and bivouacs. The GSL and ASL took care of this event. Special thanks to AVSL Manuel and ex-scouter Erika Micallef for their assistant during the hike and checkpoints.
