As happened last year, the participation of the group during the horticultural society at San Anton gardens was through a farm house model done by GSL Vince Farrugia assisted by some members of the group as well as the setting up of a mini children’s assault course in one of the disused animal’s yard.
Hundreds of children enjoyed themselves on the obstacles throughout Saturday and Sunday.
As part of the Horticultural Society’s activity the group also took centre stage in this year’s ‘Bandu’ re-enactment in Mdina and Rabat were the group marched playing their drums and carried the winners’ trophies ‘il-palji’. ASL Mario Micallef read the ‘Bandu’ in several points along the way.
