The investiture and annual general meeting of the group took place on the 25th January. During the investiture beavers, cubs and members of the troop were officially welcomed in the group as well as invested in the World Organisation of the Scout Movement. The new leaders were also invested. At the end of the investiture ceremony all members of the group renewed their scout promise as their renewed commitment to the values of scouting.
The investiture ceremony was followed by the group’s AGM were a review of the group’s activity for 2008 was given as well as a summary of the group’s financial accounts.
