After an absence for some years, a National Cub Camp returned in 2009 and was organized between the 31st October and the 2nd November at the Għajn Tuffieħa Camp site. Over 250 cubs and 85 leaders attended from all over Malta and Gozo.
Cubs were split into three teams - Jungle, Sky and Sea. The main focus of the camp was the integration of cubs from the various packs. The camp programmed was split in three themes - Eco Adventure (covered the WOSM Environmental Badge), Energies (consisted of crafts, songs, games, zip-wire, cooking, spirituality and dances) and Friendship through hiking (consisted of 3 different hike routes).
As the camp happened to be on Halloween weekend, there was also a Halloween Get-together and craft session on the first evening, Mass on Saturday night followed by the highlight of the weekend...a Camp-fire party were everyone sang and danced together.
