For the fourth consecutive year the Unit participated in the Annual Tournament for Venture Units. The male members of the Unit, Matthew Cremona (Capt), Joseph Calleja, Nigel Mallia, Benji Micallef, Paul Sultana, and Jack Lenicker formed part of the team. Akela Joseph Farrugia also joined the team as the over 20 member. AVSL Manuel Cremona skilfully coached the team while the female members of the Unit, Daniela Ann Marie, Jasmine and Denise supported.
The Units from Attard, Dingli, Marsa, Mosta, and Naxxar scout groups took part. This time the tournament was played on a league basis with all Units playing against each other. Our Unit won the tournament on goal difference for the first time with wins against Dingli, Naxxar and Mosta and drawing with Marsa.
Trophies and shield were presented by the new Chief Scout Mr. Kenneth De Martino to team captain Matthew Cremona. Well done to all.
