This is the first level in training out of three courses for Scout leaders’ organised by the Island Head Quarters. This was attended by Support leaders Audrey Bartoli, Matthew Cremona and Joseph Calleja. It was an intensive weekend whereby leaders are trained in the basic of scouting skills such as mapping skills, orienteering, axe and knife handling, knotting and planning activities. The course also tackled issues of child protection, data protection and legal aspects.
The 3 leaders from the Attard Scout Group were amongst 56 leaders from other groups from Malta and Gozo. New friends were made and experiences shared.
