This year’s annual Venture Rally was held in Gozo. A total of fourteen Venture Units from various groups participated. The Venture Units had to plot a 10km long route set for them by the Commissioner for Ventures Mr John Micallef Engerer and along the route all Units had to find eight check points and answer questions about the location.
The Units were also tested in scouting knowledge, knotting, orienteering, first-aid, and general knowledge. This year our Unit won this rally for the first time outclassing the St. Aloysius Venture Unit who won the last five consecutive editions. The ventures participating in the Venture Rally were Benjamin Micallef (Unit Leader), Paul Sultana, Jack Lenicker, Joseph Calleja and Matthew Cremona.
A VERY WELL DONE TO ALL. This is a first for our Group. Winning this rally put the Group’s name and the Venture Unit in high esteem.
