Under the guidance of Akela, this section is made up of children between the ages of 7 and 11. Meetings are held every Wednesday between 5.30pm and 7pm. The children perform activities which lead then to acquire badges in what are termed as arrow schemes; Bronze, Silver and Gold. The group is divided into sixes each having a leader called Sixer. This gives the first experience to the children of group belonging, team spirit and leadership. The weekly meetings are taken up by craft making, educational talks as well as preparation for scouting activities. Like all the group's sections the Cub pack takes part in parades, marches and other official activities. The Cup Pack enjoys camping activities, hikes and cook outs. These are the first experiences in preparation towards Scouting.
