Held on the 17,18 & 19 March, Festa Scouts was a weekend camp
full of scouting activities held in the ta' Qali grounds and organised by the
National Scouts Association. Being a national event, most of Malta's scout groups
attended the camp organising various activities enjoyed by visitors and campers alike.
The camp was open to the public who could walk around the various camping groups and
witness first hand the activities done at camp by scouts.
Our group participated in this camp with it's scouts troup and Cub pack erecting
3 ridge tents and 2 marquees, one used as a mess and kitchen tents. Cubs
particated in craft,games and a treasure hunt at the Ta' Qali national park, while
scouts were given 3 challenges to prepare for. After building their own gadgets they
competed in a relay race at the end of the camp.
