For the second year running, the group organised a Wirja Sagra,
were two full sets of statues were exibited, together with a display of holy items.
This year, the group was allowed to use the 'ex-chappel' of the Attard Parish Center
which gave the whole set up a incredible effect. Always on duty were 2 members of the
groups while the alley leading to the chappel was aptly decorated with tripods, and
crosses and hurricane lenterns all put together with pioneering work performed by the scouts themselves.
The Wirja opened on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows and remained opened till Good Friday. The Wirja
was a huge success.
The group also took part in this year's procession of Our Lady of Sorrows organised by
the Attard parish church were for the first time, besides participating with the group's
drim, 3 scouts also played the bugles.
The Attard group also participated in the parish organsied way of the cross which ended near the group's headquaters.
The group offered hot drinks to those attending this activities when this was over, a very welcome gesture during a cold evening.
