Troupe member attends World Jamboree 2007


Benjamin Micallef, a scout in the Attard troupe formed part of Malta contingent attending the World Scouts Jamboree held in the beginning of August in Chelmsford in the UK. 40,000 scouts from all over the world attended the Jamboree which was a special occasion held on the 100th Anniversary of scouting. The Malta contingent was made up of about 70 scouts who shared 17 days of celebrating scouting in an international atmosphere. Benjamin returned with loads of experiences which he shared with his colleagues in one of the group’s meetings.
